Ensuring Clean, Safe Water for California's Homes and Businesses
Norma Lara-Meadows, a California native, has spent nearly three decades in the water quality industry. Beginning her journey in Las Vegas, NV, she cultivated a deep passion for improving the water quality of homes and businesses that range from hotels and restaurants to car dealerships, medical facilities, and laboratories. With a recent move to the area, Norma now brings her 27 years of passion and experience to the Coachella Valley where she is driven to provide clean, safe water to the desert cities.
In 2003, Ms. Lara-Meadows established SoCal Water Solutions in Imperial County, a region where water quality poses significant health risks to some local residents. For the past six years, through state funded grants and collaboration with Imperial County Department of Public Health, Norma has helped to safeguard public health by addressing water contamination issues in rural homes.

In 2020, Norma expanded her business as a Lowe’s Pro-Vider, contracting with stores in the Coachella Valley. This leap of faith led her to set new roots in Palm Desert, where she now operates while continuing to serve her clients in Imperial County.
Her passion for clean water runs deep, not only in solving complex water challenges but also in giving back to the industry. Norma actively participates in industry boards where she mentors startups and guides young entrepreneurs—especially women— who are looking to break into the field of Water Treatment Technologies. With only 7% of contracting license holders in California being women, Norma is determined to change that.
Excited about her recent move, Norma reflects, “The support from this community has been amazing and I’m excited to officially call Palm Desert my home.”
